Mission:
The mission of CORL is to provide an actual or virtual means for perioperative leaders, wherever they may be, the opportunity to come together, network, coach, mentor, guide, learn and share knowledge related to all levels of practice in varied settings.
Goals:
- To provide a means for professional colleagues to access and share knowledge, techniques, practices and opinions, founded in principles, for the application, teaching and promotion of safe, current and defensible patient care.
- To promote guiding, mentoring, networking and promote learning based on professional, clinical, ethical, legal and evidence based practice.
- To provide educational opportunities where leaders can network and increase knowledge from provincial, national and international experts.
- To provide a national information source with rapid access/response for perioperative leaders.
- To support and promote related professional bodies and specialty practice groups.
- To develop and promote specialty, team, supervisory and managerial competencies of practice, promoting continuous quality improvement.
